Norman Loberant, BS, MD
Senior Consultant, Diagnostic ImagingDr. Loberant currently serves as the Director of the Department of Radiology at the Western Galilee hospital in Naharia. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in medical engineering from Drexel University in Pennsylvania. He then obtained his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania. Dr. Loberant has continued to purse his medical education and recieved his diploma in Diagnostic Radiology from the school of continuous medical education at Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Loberant is board certified in emergency medicine (State Board & National Board of Medical Examiners). He has practiced medicine in the states of Florida and Pennsylvania and holds current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Loberant has held key positions in professional organizations acting as Chairman of the Scientific Sessions Committee of the Israel Society for Diagnostic Ultrasound in Medicine (2000-02) and the Secretary of the Israel Society for Diagnostic Ultrasound in Medicine (2002-05).
